Hello everyone!

I'm assuming since you're reading this right now you've received your Pink or Yellow flyer (they are both the same so no worries about the color), this means you are interested in learning more about the department and helping out.  I would like to first say

THANK YOU!

Your interest shows that you care; you care about your neighbors, you care about your own property and your interested in change.   If you decide to join any of the Companies in town you will be doing a great Civic duty to your community.  But you will gain two very important things...

1.) Training and knowledge of the fire service

2.) A new addition and meaning to "Family"

If you are interested in learning more about the Lambertville Fire Department I urge you to attend the Lambertville Fire Commission Meeting.  It's held the Second Tuesday of Every month at the Justice Center.  (Tomorrow night there is a meeting). 

And if you are interested in joining... like the flyer says stop by your local firehouse and inquire.  The members are more than willing to show you around the apparatus and explain the training schedule.  Then you can decide if the fire service is something for you or not, if not there are other ways you can help out.  A lot of the Companies offer a Contributing membership which would allow you to help at all Non fire fighting events, like fund raisers and such.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
